The Vortex Of Submission
Coming in JUNE!
A New NVC Class to Consider!
Starting Wednesday,June 18 - August 13, we'll begin the 9 week exploration of how we as human beings submit to life choices. The curriculum designed by Jim and Jori Manske is known as The Vortex of Submission! In this class, we'll learn and apply NVC principles and practices as unconsciously we submit to demands, learning how we defer taking responsibility for our choices, how we diagnose ourselves and others, and explore the defeat in deserve thinking. In NVC, we call these obstacles to connecting the 4 D's and The Vortex of Submission like a vast swirling pool of quickly churning water pulls us under to submission rather than fully choosing the opportunity to live with agency. Living with choice, we apply compassionate boundaries where connection with ourselves and others become more fluid.
Imagine how easily we are influenced by the 4 D's of Demand, Diagnosis, Denial of Responsibility, and Deserve in life as we encounter these opportunities:
1. How submission and disappointment can lead to a denial of responsibility.
2. How unspoken expectations can lead to submission through demands.
3. How resentment leads to the evaluation and diagnosing of others.
4. How rebellion leads to punitive thinking.
5. How guilt, depression, and shame has the opportunity of leading to
experiencing beneficial regret as an NVC apology.
6. How the awareness of perceptual reorientation becomes a turning point in
relationships.
This is an in-depth study of unconsciously aware patterns conditioned by culture and how we employ them to our deficit rather than to living abundantly.
Objectives for the 9 Weeks:
~Transform 'Have To's' to Choose To.
~Turn Demands into Requests.
